As we enter this season of gratitude and celebration, we invite you to join us in sharing the love and hope of Jesus throughout our city. From serving warm meals to hosting joyful Christmas gatherings, there are many ways to Bring Hope and make a difference in someone's life.
Thanksgiving Bring Hope Opportunities
- Turkey Drive: Last year, over 150 volunteers from WoodsEdge delivered 750 turkey and food boxes to three different apartment communities in Greenspoint. This year we're expanding to a fourth apartment to bring the hope and love of Christ to more Greenspoint residents. We need help at each location with set-up, turkey and food box distribution, prayer ministry, games, hospitality, and teardown.
- Montrose Street Church Thanksgiving Dinner: Join us as we serve a Thanksgiving meal and celebrate with our Montrose community.Serve food and drinks, host tables and pray with guests, assist with setup, cleanup, or decorations; or provide desserts to share.
- Join the Baking Team: Do you have a favorite pie your family loves? Maybe this year you can bake two! We need homemade pies for Montrose Street Church on Wednesday, November 25. Your pies will help bless our friends and families as they gather for Thanksgiving dinner.
Christmas Bring Hope Opportunities
Last year, over 100 WoodsEdge volunteers brought Christ's love and Christmas joy to our community by serving at ministry partner Christmas parties. We have multiple Giving Tree parties where you can serve the children and families who receive gifts through our Giving Tree program.
