The Young Adult Pastor will oversee a thriving ministry for the 18 – 25-year-old, college, career, and single adults in our community who are all in for the mission and vision of Woodsedge. It is essential that this person be able to connect with young adults on a social and spiritual level, with the intent of coaching them towards a passion for Jesus and their world.
Young Adults
through regular gatherings, local and global involvement and through groups.
The Associate Care Pastor serves as the first line of response to care needs within the body of WoodsEdge, and works to recruit, train, and coach triage leaders who oversee care groups that walk with the WoodsEdge family though times of crisis. This includes casting vision for and ensuring the health of each crisis response team.
The Technical Director translates the vision from the Pastor of Worship & Creative Arts to the Tech Team, leading the Technical Manager, developing training, systems, and procedures. They manage the ministry budget, project success, and team development/performance.
Fundamental to who we are as a church and a staff team is prayer. Taken from Matthew 21:13 where Christ states, "It is written, ‘My house shall be called a house of prayer’". At WoodsEdge, we seek God first for everything we do. We set aside every Tuesday to pray together as a staff team and dedicate our Wednesday evening service to Prayer and Worship.
Outside the walls is a term you may only ever hear at WoodsEdge, but it encompasses our desire to look beyond the walls of the church into the neighborhoods, communities, cities and nations beyond. Wrapped up in that simple phrase are the principles of missions, discipleship and service to all people.
Whether participating in a group, serving or being a part of staff WoodsEdge is about community and connection. As a staff team, we try to find intentional ways to grow deeper in our connection with each other through planned staff events, retreats and fun days. We work hard and enjoy the times when we can come together in celebration.
