Executive Assistant 

Position Summary

The Executive Assistant will act with little supervision, anticipating needs while managing the day‐to‐day workflow, and participating in a wide range of special projects. The Executive Administrative Assistant will perform, coordinate and oversee administrative duties while providing an extensive level of support.    

The ideal candidate will be highly administrative, familiar with project management with a focus on process and timelines and be proficient with Excel and other digital organizational tools such as Planner or Basecamp.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

  • Balance conflicting priorities in order to manage workflow, ensure the completion of essential projects, and meet critical deadlines
  • Schedule all meetings and travel, including prioritizing meetings and communicating all relevant details to participants
  • Ensure XP is prepared for upcoming appointments by gathering materials necessary for each meeting
  • Facilitate, build and monitor relationships including tracking contacts in database and managing follow-up
  • Coordinate and manage special projects, including working collaboratively with staff to assure projects meet deadlines
  • Take on tasks to support the work of ministries and overall WoodsEdge mission
  • Prepare financial statements, reports, memos, invoices letters, and other documents.
  • Handling basic bookkeeping tasks, credit card reconciliation, expense reporting & budgeting
  • Using various software, including word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and presentation software.
  • Provide comprehensive administrative support with no task too small attitude
  • Work as a member of the team, willingly providing back‐up support for co‐workers when appropriate and actively supporting group goals
  • Performs other job-related duties and responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time, such as, filling in for reception, running errands, etc.
  • Commitment to personal time with God every day to pursue a heart that loves Jesus, and to ongoing spiritual, personal and professional growth

Requirements

  • Associates degree in business or related field of study
  • Proven experience as an executive assistant or other relevant administrative support experience.
  • In-depth understanding of entire MS Office suite, proficient in Outlook and Excel
  • Ability to organize a daily workload by priorities. Exemplary planning and time management skills
  • Must be able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced quickly changing environment.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong decision-making skills.
  • Professional level verbal and written communications skills.
  • Excellent relationship builder; able to demonstrate a high level of tact, discretion, and diplomacy with all internal and external stakeholders.
  • Must also demonstrate ability to maintain confidential/sensitive information.
  • Skilled in tracking projects including identify steps and keeping process on time
  • Resourceful, strategic problem-solving ability with a fun, positive “can do” attitude,
  • Self-starter – provides strong contribution based upon sound judgment and self-direction

KidsEdge Preschool Teachers

KidsEdge teachers provide Christ-centered care and education for our week-day preschool.

School days are Monday/Wednesday 9 a.m. - 2 p.m.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

  • Care for children (birth-Pre-K) including supervising and monitoring the safety of children in their care
  • Prepare and plan daily schedules and lessons for the school year
  • Follow schedules and routines to ensure that children have enough physical activity, rest and playtime.
  • Partner is making disciples in the classroom
  • Follow preschool policies and protocols for safety, security and care of the children.
  • Clean and care for spaces after each school day and ensure rooms are properly stocked.
  • Strong healthy relationships with other teachers, WoodsEdge staff and parents.
  • Maintain open communication with parents.
  • Meet all applicable handbook/policy regulations
  • Stay up to date on CPR and First Aid certification
  • Meet the necessary 24 hour training annual requirement
  • Attend all KidsEdge Preschool trainings and meetings

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED; Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred.
  • Previous experience working with children & infants
  • CPR, First Aid certifications, preferred
  • Child Abuse Prevention training within 30 days of hire date.
  • Christ follower with the ability to share the love of Jesus with small children
  • Demonstrate a lifestyle of holiness, love and compassion
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong team player
  • Proven work ethic and strong sense of excellence

Childcare Care Giver

Come join our team.  Childcare workers provide Christ-centered care during events at WoodsEdge Community Church. We have flexible opportunities for evenings, days and weekends.
