Responsible to embrace and promote the mission, vision and culture of WoodsEdge Coffeehouse. Proactively ensure excellence in product and service, create an inviting environment, empowering all team members, and cultivate knowledge of coffee and tea. This role operates under the leadership of the Welcome Director and Welcome Coordinator. 

Key Roles and Responsibilities 

List of primary responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: 

  • Masters WoodsEdge coffee, espresso and tea offerings. 
  • Able to complete all duties of Barista as needed and or required 
  • Assists with new team member training  
  • Creates a positive learning  
  • Develops positive relationships  
  • Executes store operations during scheduled shifts. 
  • Organizes opening and closing duties as assigned. 
  • Takes part in implementing ways to strengthen our coffeehouse. 
  • Operates the store effectively in absence of the Coffee House Manager 
  • Finds ways to increase efficiency during busy times, suggest ideas to make the changes quickly. 
  • Maintains inventory levels and communicate any changes to the Coffee House Manager 
  • Maintains regular and consistent attendance and punctuality 

Requirements 

  • HS diploma or equivalent, some college preferred  
  • 1- 2 years relevant work experience, preferred 
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule on an ongoing basis  
  • Demonstrated success in leading a team 
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to establish priorities 
  • Excellent attention to detail, excellent organizational skills and follow-through. 
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skills. 
  • Sound judgment, adaptability, flexibility, and creative problem-solving when confronted with changing and challenging circumstances. 
  • Demonstrated professionalism. 
  • Must be a team player and able to anticipate what needs to be done and do it willingly, regardless of the level of the task.

 Student Worship Coordinator

The student ministry is looking for a part time worship coordinator. 

The major purpose and responsibility of the Student Worship Coordinator is to work in cooperation with the Student Pastor & Executive Pastor of Worship in facilitating excellent student worship experiences weekly, while also helping to oversee worship leaders and volunteer development in WoodsEdge Student Ministry.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Student Team to plan and coordinate Sunday and Wednesday services.
  • Oversee Sunday & Wednesday musicians and volunteers in Student Ministry.
  • Help lead worship for various weekly ministry events as needed.
  • Help Student Tech Coordinator with various projects as needed (installations, stage design/build, set stage for services, other.)
  • Recruit, audition, train, develop, disciples, and empower Student Ministry worship volunteers.
  • Set as a high priority the development of other worship leaders within the church.
  • Participate in 1:1’s with Lead Student Pastor.
  • Attend WE staff events, prayer, meetings, team meetings, etc.
  • Commitment to personal time with God every day to pursue a heart that loves Jesus, and to ongoing spiritual, personal, and professional growth
  • Builds a strong relationship between our Worship Team and Student Worship Team

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree, preferred
  • 3+ years’ worship leading experience
  • Proven ability to successfully develop worship leaders and volunteers
  • Active prayer intercessor

 Live Audio Manager

Position Summary

The Live Audio Manager will lead the audio team at WoodsEdge, which includes both volunteers and paid staff, to support the ministry needs for all services and special events. Work collaboratively with the Tech Team in all stage designs, stage resets, and AVL system repairs and upgrades campus wide

Key Roles and Responsibilities

  • Oversee all audio-related personnel campus wide including paid staff and volunteers. This includes recruitment, scheduling, and training for audio production and other audio-related positions.
  • Oversee live audio production campus wide, including Sundays, Wednesday night prayer service, special events, live broadcast, and recordings.
  • Run audio as needed for any and all services or events at WoodsEdge.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of special services (Christmas, Easter, etc.).
  • Professional, consistent, and high quality mixes, online content, and streaming audio for worship services and special events
  • Properly maintained and inventoried audio equipment and related supplies
  • Assist Technical Director in all audio, video, and lighting installation projects which includes support technologies and other equipment church-wide.
  • Work with Technical Director and team to plan, build, and implement stage design changes.
  • Work with Technical Director to manage and design the live audio systems campus-wide.
  • Well-tuned audio systems appropriate to the venue and the needs of the ministries in that venue
  • Thorough knowledge base of audio systems and equipment
  • General knowledge base of all video, and lighting systems and equipment
  • Research, study, and discuss new audio trends, ideas, and equipment

Requirements

  • 4+ years live audio production experience preferred.
  • Bachelors degree in related field preferred.
  • Equipment troubleshooting and repair capabilities a plus.
  • Experience working in all areas of technical production including audio, video, and lighting.
  • Experience leading and training volunteer teams a plus.
  • Self-starter and driven to succeed. Flexibility and adaptability.
  • Able to collaborate with a team. A positive and servant-hearted attitude.
  • A heart for worshiping God and serving people.
  • Must be dependable and committed, task oriented and always thinking ahead of what needs to happen in rehearsal and events.
  • Able to work in a team setting and take directions well.
  • Either has experience mixing audio successfully in the live environment OR are willing to attended training and work alongside a mentor.
  • Have good communication skills.
  • Ability to think quickly and react/trouble-shoot properly in high stress situations.
  • Willing to attend training sessions and read/watch other training material for improving existing skills. Provide excellence in everything you do.

 JoyBridge Ministry Manager

The WoodsEdge Children’s Ministry has an opening for someone to oversee our special needs ministry.  The ideal candidate has a heart for including all people with special needs in a church environment and sees them as individual’s indispensable to the body of Christ. With this in mind, this person will care for and advocate for our families impacted by special needs. The ideal candidate also has a passion for shepherding and training volunteers to serve these families. In addition, s/he understands and desires to work with other departments in an effort to make WoodsEdge a church that is sensitive to the needs of families with special needs.

Part-time (25 hours per week)

Key Roles and Responsibilities

  • Coordinate, schedule and supervise all services for children and students with special needs. (Birth through Senior High students with an elementary or younger learning level.)
  • Create and maintain safe and loving environments to ensure the physical and emotional wellbeing of all children with disabilities according to their developmental levels and learning styles.
  • Enlist, train and lead “Champions” to encourage and partner one on one with children who are mainstreamed in age appropriate classrooms.
  • Evaluate and adapt curriculum for special needs students.
  • Work with children’s ministry staff  to identify and serve individuals with special needs
  • Plan and execute events that equip, train, and recharge parents of our special needs friends
  • Recruit, process and train volunteer teams to support the unique needs of our special families
  • Support, equip, encourage and celebrate ministry volunteers
  • Develop individual resources that help guide and reward children’s positive behavior.
  • Establish trusting relationships with parents and be a source of support to families through prayer, sharing of Support Group opportunities, etc.
  • Cultivate a collaborative relationship with other local churches and ministries better serve our community
  • Coordinate/Communicate with Children’s Leadership Team on evaluation and placement of children into the ministry.
  • Maintain current knowledge of and trends in the care and ministry to special needs kids and families.

Requirements

  • HS diploma or equivalent; Higher education in teaching, special needs or equivalent preferred
  • Educational background/training in special needs
  • 2-3 years of experience leading a special needs ministry
  • Current and thorough special needs knowledge base

KidsEdge Preschool Teachers

KidsEdge teachers provide Christ-centered care and education for our week-day preschool.

School days are Monday/Wednesday 9 a.m. - 2 p.m.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

  • Care for children (birth-Pre-K) including supervising and monitoring the safety of children in their care
  • Prepare and plan daily schedules and lessons for the school year
  • Follow schedules and routines to ensure that children have enough physical activity, rest and playtime.
  • Partner is making disciples in the classroom
  • Follow preschool policies and protocols for safety, security and care of the children.
  • Clean and care for spaces after each school day and ensure rooms are properly stocked.
  • Strong healthy relationships with other teachers, WoodsEdge staff and parents.
  • Maintain open communication with parents.
  • Meet all applicable handbook/policy regulations
  • Stay up to date on CPR and First Aid certification
  • Meet the necessary 24 hour training annual requirement
  • Attend all KidsEdge Preschool trainings and meetings

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED; Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred.
  • Previous experience working with children & infants
  • CPR, First Aid certifications, preferred
  • Child Abuse Prevention training within 30 days of hire date.
  • Christ follower with the ability to share the love of Jesus with small children
