The mission of the Student Ministry of WoodsEdge Community Church is to Love Jesus, Journey Together, and Bring Hope to the World. Our primary goals in fulfilling this mission are to disciple and empower students according to God's Word, and then equip them to go out and make other disciples. From this pursuit we hope to see disciple-making movements established within the student communities of Montgomery and Harris counties. As a result of these movements, we expect to see lives, churches, and entire schools completely transformed as God pours out his Spirit upon our students and our city.
Every Sunday morning we host two unique worship services for area students.
Our Junior High service is hosted at 10am for all of our 7th - 8th graders.
Our Senior High service is hosted at 11:30am for all of our 9th - 12th graders.
Our student worship services feature Biblical, interactive, and highly visual teachings with an emphasis on authentic worship and meaningful response times. Our worship services are hosted in our free-standing student center which is situated at the back of the WoodsEdge Campus, located at 25333 Gosling Road.
Given our central location between Montgomery and Harris Counties, we host students from Conroe ISD, Klein ISD, Tomball ISD, Aldine ISD, Magnolia ISD and beyond. We are also home to large contingents of students from area private schools and multiple home school communities.
Wednesday nights for students at WoodsEdge are all about small groups. Beginning at the start of every school year and running until school lets out in June, small groups take place on the WoodsEdge Campus on Wednesday nights from 6pm to 8:15pm throughout both semesters. Small Groups are where we see the lion's share of 1:1 discipleship take place. These groups serve as the best way to get plugged-in to the student community of WoodsEdge. Groups are built around inductive Bible studies, personal relationships, accountability, and prayer. Every small group consists of ten students of like grade and gender, and they are led by two, trusted adult leaders who spend the entire school year pouring into their group.
