Houston welcomes refugees

Houston Welcomes Refugees partners with the YMCA to ease the resettlement process for refugee families with hope, honor, and love. They do this by (1) furnishing apartments for new families before they arrive to the United States, (2) forming welcome teams that greet families upon their arrival, and (3) developing long-term relationships with the families while sharing the gospel.

WINGS MINISTRY

WINGS helps incarcerated women discover and embrace their true identity in Christ, while learning essential skills necessary to meet the challenges of life. Not only do the women receive Biblical-teaching and discipleship, but they also learn how to complete a job application, create a resume, and manage their finances – all in preparation for their release.
