TATTOO MY SOUL ART CONTEST

Thank you for participating in The Student Ministry Tattoo My Soul Art Contest.  This contest is sponsored by the WoodsEdge Student Ministry.  By participating in this contest, each Participant agrees to the following.

  • Contest Period The Contest begins August 18, 2019 and ends September 15, 2019 at midnight.  Entries must be received during the Contest Period to be eligible.  Sponsor shall not be responsible for lost, late, incomplete, invalid, unintelligible, inappropriate or misdirected entries, all of which will be disqualified. 
  • Eligibility The Contest exists for WoodsEdge students age 12-18 years who are regular attenders of the WoodsEdge Student Ministry (WESM) and who have the approval of a parent or legal guardian.  Sponsor reserves right to nullify participation by any Participant deemed not to be part of WoodsEdge Student Ministry. 
  • Submission Process This is an Art Contest.  Once submitted, all artwork becomes the sole and exclusive property of Sponsor and will not be returned.  
    1. Artwork can be submitted via email to , or in person at the WoodsEdge Student Info Desk on Sundays or Wednesday
    2. If artwork is submitted by email, it must be submitted as a JPEG between 1 and 5 MB’s in size
    3. Participants are responsible for providing a legible name and follow-up email or phone number with each submission
    4. Participants may submit up to 5 submissions each
    5. Art work must be presented in "portrait" orientation 
  • Art Requirements Participants will create original artwork based on the scripture passage, Dueteronomy 11:18-21, and include “Encourage Love & Good Deeds”
  • Prizes  The Contest will award prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Additionally, any artwork submitted may also be selected to appear as a prayer card on the Sevenapples App. 
    1. 1stPrize: $200
    2. 2ndPrize: $100
    3. 3rdPlace: $50
  • Winner Selection Contest winners will be determined according to the method specified by Sponsor at Sponsor’s sole and exclusive discretion.  The winning entrant will be contacted using the email address and/or telephone number provided and may be awarded the prize (subject to verification of eligibility and compliance with the terms of these rules or the specific Contest).  Sponsor’s decisions as to the administration and operation of Contests and the selection of potential winners is final and binding in all matters related to the Contest.  Failure to respond to the initial verification contact within three (3) days of notification will result in disqualification.
  • Verification of Potential Winner POTENTIAL CONTEST WINNERS ARE SUBJECT TO VERIFICATION BY SPONSOR WHOSE DECISIONS ARE FINAL AND BINDING IN ALL MATTERS RELATED TO THE CONTEST.  The potential winner must continue to comply with all terms and conditions of these Official Rules of the Contest, and winning is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements.  The potential winner will be notified by email and/or telephone call, after the Contest is concluded.  The potential winner or winner’s parent/guardian will be required to sign and return to Sponsor, within three days of the date notice is sent, an affidavit of eligibility and a liability release in order to claim his/her prize. If potential winner cannot be contacted or fails to sign and return eligibility and liability documents within three days, potential winner forfeits prize and Sponsor will select a new winner.

  • Entry Conditions & Release By entering Contest, each participant agrees to:
    1. Comply with and be bound by these Official Rules, and the decisions of Sponsor, which are binding and final in all matters relating to Contest
    2. Release and hold harmless Sponsor, WoodsEdge Community Church, and its subsidiaries, related and affiliated companies, participating sponsors, the prize suppliers and any other organizations responsible for sponsoring, fulfilling, administering, advertising or promoting the Contest, and each of their respective past and present officers, directors, employees, agents and representatives (collectively, the “Released Parties”) from and against any and all claims, expenses, and liability, including but not limited to negligence and damages of any kind to persons and property, including but not limited to invasion of privacy (under appropriation, intrusion, public disclosure of private facts, false light in the public eye or other legal theory), defamation, slander, libel, violation of right of publicity, infringement of trademark, copyright or other intellectual property rights, property damage, or death or personal injury arising out of or relating to a participant’s entry, creation of an entry or submission of an entry, participation in a Contest, acceptance or use or misuse of prize (including any travel or activity related thereto) and/or the broadcast, exploitation or use of entry.
    3. Indemnify, defend and hold harmless the Released Parties from and against any and all claims, expenses, and liabilities (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or relating to an entrant’s participation in the Contest and/or entrant’s acceptance, use, non-use or misuse of the prize.
