This course has been uniquely designed to help you discover your highest calling and challenges all who partcipate to live out the values of the Kingdom of God on a daily basis. Whether in the context of work, family or play, at home or abroad, we want to empower you to thrive within your community and to make disciples who will then go out and make disciples of their own.
ACTIVATE is a discovery learning experience meant to challenge participants to discover and grow in the value of the Kingdom of God, maturing in Christ-like character. Activate is designed to help participants discover and intentionally live in God’s identity and destiny. We want to empower those focused on loving and discipling others, locally or internationally. It offers a missions oriented discipleship and challenges us to live out the values of the Kingdom of God whether at work, at home or at church. This course is most suitable for those interested to serve God in a full-time capacity, or for those who desire to live to the fullest for God’s Kingdom in their community. (NOTE: Perspectives is a prerequisite for taking Activate.)
This class is open to everyone through the application process. (Activate is a requirement for those hoping to serve long-term with WoodsEdge.)

- Developing a “Kingdom of God” worldview
- Walking in freedom and grow in Christ-like character

Be Simple
While recognizing that the “spiritual” and the “natural” things of life are interwoven and inseparable, we trust that the time in Activate will serve as a Sabbath rest from most peripheral activities. Our desire is to help each other discover and focus on their calling from God. Focusing on relationship with God will hopefully result in an unmistakable power from Him that will help each person engage in their world.

May I take Activate even if I am not preparing for long-term service?
Yes. Activate is open to anyone desiring to be intentional about learning more about God, yourself, loving God and loving others in greater measure. Activate is open to everyone accepted through the application process. However, the program is a requirement for all those hoping to serve cross-culturally with WoodsEdge. Applicants must have completed Perspectives before taking Activate. We prefer applicants be 18 and older.

When are applications due?
July 15 for the August class; November 30 for the January class. Applications can be filled out online

What is the cost for Activate?
The only cost is the binder with printed materials.

What is the average class size?
We prefer to limit the number to around 10-15 in order to create a deeper sense of community and to foster deeper discussion.
